1Corinthians 6:1 Dare any of you having a matter against another go to law before the unjust and not before the saints.(a lesson on this from the Old Testament:.2Chronicles 25:9)?
Paul is saying, Are you so off base spiritually that you can't work out your problems with each other?
1Corinthians 6:2 Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

1Corinthians 6:3 Know you not that we shall judge angels.(*)? How much more things that pertain to Earthly life?
Some people think it's not good to judge based on:.Luke 6:37. We do things and others do things, so about us.and.about others:.Luke 22:30. What about.2Corinthians 5:10?
1Corinthians 6:4 If then you have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
1Corinthians 6:4 If then you have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.(consider the poor amongst you:.Ephesians 4:2,3; Ephesians 4:32; Colossians 3:12-15; James 2:6).
1Corinthians 6:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? No, there isn't one who is able to judge between his brethren.
I speak to your shame.(what have you done to help your brother who may be in need?.Matthew 23:5,6). Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you.(you have no sense to do good to those in need)? No, there isn't one who is able to judge between his brethren.
Paul is here explaining that you just treat everbody as though they are all making out fine. Why? Matthew 7:3-6. The Corinthian church was known.(1Corinthians 3:1-4 and verses 6-8 below here).for being the most carnal of all the churches back then.
1Corinthians 6:6 But brother goes to law with brother and that before the unbelievers.
Matthew 5:25; 1Corinthians 3:16; Galatians 5:26.
1Corinthians 6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you because you go to law one with another. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

1Corinthians 6:8 Nay, you do wrong and defraud and that your brethren.

1Corinthians 6:9 Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with humanity.
1Corinthians 6:9 Know you not that the unrighteous.(just a word they used way back when, to describe the low consciousness we all slide into by default about the age of three).shall not inherit.(original for 'inherit' is 'to receive by lot'; in other words, the unrighteous, those of the low consciousness ego level won't be 'chosen' because they are still in the low consciousness ego level for whatever reasons they are still there:.Matthew 22:14. To be 'chosen' one must be of the higher consciousness level, not actually 'chosen' as if chosen apart from others (Acts 17:30), just a word they used as best they could to describe the spiritual pathway).the kingdom of God? Be not deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with humanity..('abusers of themselves with humanity' refers to homosexuals in the original. Basically the verse is talking of an attitude that precludes the growth of a relationship with the Great Infinite One, for what else should ever have the preeminence? Those consumed with such vices have chosen the life they want to live. It's just showing here that anything that one is consumed by is not for his ultimate good. Only higher consciousness ways are for everyone's ultimate good:.2Corinthians 13:5.
1Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, inherit the kingdom of God.

1Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you.(Titus 3:3-7). But now you are washed, sanctified and justified in the name of Christ Emmanuel.by means of.the Spirit of our God.
Ephesians 2:10.

It's talking about how we all were at the ego, low consciousness level in our lives, wanting something better for ourselves and others we love and now are on that pathway of something better and for all. The verbs in the verse show that it's a process. The verbs are aorist, passive and indicative.

1Corinthians 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
Paul here determines that he will be in control of all things regarding his life, so that they won't have control over him to any detriment, speaking of course mostly of negative things, such as alcohol dependency, living life raucously, recklessly, etc. But, some religions want you to restrict yourself and not necessarily because you may have decided to, but because they recommend it, so we have some of them telling you to avoid this or avoid that; don't smoke, no alcohol, no coffee, only certain food on certain days, like fish on Friday, etc.:.Acts 10:11-33; 1Timothy 4:3.
1Corinthians 6:14 And God has both raised up the Lord and will also raise up us.('raised us up' in original is awakening from sleep; being asleep to the higher consciousness things, being asleep because your ego has you blinded to the things of the spirit).by his own.(word 'own' not in original).power.

1Corinthians 6:15 Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

1Corinthians 6:16 What? know you not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? For two says he, are one flesh.

1Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto God.(and how are we connected).is one spirit.
And, do we all have the same faith and what about amounts of it?
1Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is without the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
Romans 1:24-32.
1Corinthians 6:19 What? Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which you have of God and you are not your own?
1Corinthians 6:19 What? Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you.(or, 'your acting as though you are not aware that the Creator is in you, because you are not using the powerful life changing gift God gave you and instead acting like you have been in separation from the Infinite One'; how?), which you have of God.(it was and still is a gift:.Acts 2:38; 10:45; Romans 5:5).and you are not your own.(1Peter 2:9)?

Acts 20:28 "...feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood."

Acts 2:38 "...receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 10:45 "...the gift of the Holy Ghost."

And it's good each of us is 'not our own', because God looks after those who love Him (Luke 11:11-13), those aligned with God (*):.Hebrews 13:5,6.

No longer belonging to the beliefs you held close when you were fragmented. The original has it, 'you're not yourself', that is, back then you were not whole, had no wholeness. Well then, just what are you? and how to get God's attention on you:.Isaiah 66:2. And what's your part in it all?

We all are in the multiversal consciousness of good energy, good frequencies aka good vibrations (remember the Bee Gees song?), when we prefer to focus on those qualities of higher consciousness that remove us from evil (Matthew 6:13), but sometimes we need a little help. A lot of help has been provided, but most people remain unaware of this. What help has been provided that you could use this instant? Here it is! Use it.

1Corinthians 6:20 For you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's...
Original can also mean 'which is God' that is, you've given attention to God in you and this brings it out. Your body and your spirit is God when your attention is on that and when it is, you're of higher consciousness than the low consciousness thinking that is the normality of humanity.
