About Psalms

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the unGodly.(the ungoldly is each of us living from the ego), nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.

Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord.(and what's that law today?) and in his law does he meditate.day and night.
Means your heart primarily is interested and founded in what God is interested in; that is, you are aware of your soul:.Proverbs 4:23.
Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season. His leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

Psalms 1:4 The unGodly are not so but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

Psalms 1:5 Therefore the unGodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Psalms 1:6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the unGodly shall perish.
Note that it's their way that will be gone.

Cross reference Psalms 2:1-3 with Acts 4:1-26.
Psalms 2:2 The kings of the Earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
Acts 4:26.
Psalms 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us.
This is what those kings and rulers think of those that are good. That simply shows how evil they are. It's saying here, lets destroy these culprits. And why? Because those out for destruction are of the ordinary satanic easily influenced consciousness and being blinded to any better way.(Proverbs 14:12), they don't really know why they are as they are:.Psalms 82:5; 14:1-4.
Psalms 2:4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh. The Lord shall have them in derision.

Psalms 2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath and vex them in his sore displeasure.
The true God didn't want to be harsh with them, but what other option was there? God is disappointed when people are evil.
Psalms 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Psalms 2:7 I will declare the decree.(an appointment:.Hebrews 1:2; 3:1,2). God has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Luke 1:30-35.
Psalms 2:8 Ask of me and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance and the uttermost parts of the Earth for thy possession.
Christ now responsible for all nations on Earth in bringing them to the Father, meaning bringing them into the same high consciousness others in the spiritual family of the Father are also aligned with.
Psalms 2:9-11 You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O you kings, be instructed, you judges of the Earth. Serve the God with fear and rejoice with trembling.
Make God the important thing in your life that it should be, for why not become more on the side of good?
Psalms 2:12 Kiss the Son.(give homage), lest he be angry and you perish from.(word 'from' not in the original; it's saying keep oneself aligned with God, otherwise one ends up having continued with the way of life that has already caused many hurts, the path that is the path of death living:.Psalms 7:9-16).the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Verse is saying that we live in a system of laws, invisible laws having spiritual implications, such as the multiversal one of 'reap and sow', so be careful what you think because that is surely what you'll become like.
David, Moses, Joshua, Gideon and many others were successful by trusting in the true God of all good creation.

The verse is contrasting two ways of life, the way that seems right (Proverbs 14:12) at one level of consciousness, such as would be the way of a king and a vassal and the way that is right, the way of love:.Romans 13:10.

Barnes Notes: "The word 'kiss' here is used in accordance with Oriental usages, for it was in this way that respect was indicated for others. This was the ancient mode of doing homage or allegiance to a king and others:.1Samuel 10:1; Romans 16:16. The mode of rendering.homage to a king by a kiss was sometimes to kiss his hand or his dress or his feet, as among the Persians. The practice of kissing the hand of a monarch is not uncommon in European courts as a token of allegiance or slavery. They should kiss your feet. They work for you:.Revelation 3:9. The meaning here is that allegiance expressed to the Son of God, recognizes him as the authorized true King, with suitable expressions of submission and allegiance, that they should receive him as King, it means that they should embrace him as their Savior.

Psalms 3:1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom.(2Chronicles 11:20).his son. Lord, how are they increased that trouble me? Many are they that rise up against me.

Psalms 4:1 To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm of David. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness. You have enlarged me when I was in distress. Have mercy upon me and hear my prayer.
Barnes Notes: "That is, on some former occasion. When David was 'pressed' or 'confined' and knew not how to escape, God had interposed and had given him room, so that he felt free. He now implores the same mercy again. He feels that the God who had done it in former troubles could do it again; and he asks him to repeat his mercy."
Psalms 4:2 O you sons of men, how long will you turn my glory into shame? how long will you love vanity and seek after leasing.(means 'lies', 'lying', lying, which is deceit, to gain some advantage:.Psalms 12:2)? Selah.

Psalms 4:3 But know that the Lord has set apart him that is Godly for himself. The Lord will hear when I call unto him.

Psalms 4:4 Stand in awe and sin not.('sin not' {word 'sin' means 'missing the mark'} or, 'don't break your relationship with God by deeming other things to be of greater importance'). Commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still. Selah.
Don't get all anxious in your mind over things in your life.

Psalms 4:6 There be many that say, Who will show us any good? Lord, lift up the light of your countenance.(attention of the Infinite One on us).upon us.

Psalms 4:7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
More than the happy times of celebrating a great harvest.
Psalms 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace and sleep, for only you God of all light, love, compassion and creation, make for me to dwell in safety..(*)
