We pray from what we think in our hearts and that is what we are:.Ephesians 6:18; 2Timothy 2:22. We worship.(give attention to).God in our hearts:.Philippians 3:3. We express love to God and others from what is in our hearts:.Colossians 1:8. We are close to others who may be far away by what we feel in our hearts about them:.Colossians 2:5. Use heartfelt feelings to let others get close to you:.Psalms 40:10. Be sincere.

The Creator is able to create a clean heart in us if we want one:.Psalms 51:10

The Creator always knows what's going on with you. He hears you when you are down:.Psalms 31:18; Psalms 40:12

The Creator is the Father of spirits.(Hebrews 12:9).and as such is most concerned with what it is that we are and are becoming. To move up in quality of character, one needs new and better information to learn new things. Learning is taking information to heart, that is, believing the information will make a change when applied in one's life:.John 6:43-45. And when applied, one sees results. This then is proof positive that the information is indeed.true.

We are our hearts, wherein is the base of actions in life:.1Samuel 16:7; Psalms 17:9; Proverbs 17:3;.Jeremiah 11:20 "But, O Lord of hosts, that judges righteously, that tries the reins and the heart....." Jeremiah 17:10 "I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings."

The Creator causes circumstances of life for each of us to see if we will handle them with love or not. Why? Either way we reap what we sow or in other words, we get from life in accordance to how we handle circumstances.

The circumstances are there so we can stay awake to our state of knowing, thus, getting to know ourselves better. It's like Peter, who figured he was one way, until Christ showed him he was missing the boat in his life:.John 13:36-38. And so, God allows and/or causes things in our individual lives so there is opportunity to grow spiritually toward a great reward.

Psalms 11:4 "The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven. His eyes behold and try the children of men." 1Chronicles 28:9; 29:17.

Romans 8:27 "And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

So, we need to learn to have some things. To add some things to our lives we need knowledge.(Luke 11:52), for example one thing to add to yourself is discernment. It protects us. Lack of it, as these folks exhibited, can be hurtful.

Jeremiah 12:3 "But you, O Lord, know me. You have seen me and tried mine heart toward you..." 1Thessalonians 2:4 "...even so we speak, not as pleasing men but God which trys our hearts.(right from the beginning this was true:.Deuteronomy 13:3)."

2Chronicles 32:31 "...God left him to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.".Psalms 11:4.

God tests us:.Exodus 16:4; 20:20; Deuteronomy 8:2,16; Judges 2:20-23; 3:1-4. David wanted God to test him:.Psalms 26:2.

Job was tested whether of not he may have wanted it.

God tests us not just so that we learn to trust Him, but so that He can trust us and for the great purpose that's coming:.1Corinthians 2:9. God tested ancient Balaam and the story is a humorous one.

We may think, as Peter did, that we are solid in God, but like Peter, what he thought showed he really didn't know himself, but he thought he did. Again:.John 13:36-38.

This is why God is interested in testing people:.Deuteronomy 8:2 "And remember all the way which the Lord your God led you forty years in the wilderness to humble you and to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or no.".And they failed miserably:.Jeremiah 44:16,17.

An example of God trying ancient king Saul:.1Samuel 10:8,9. Also an example of Joseph and David.

Emmanuel tested Philip, a disciple of His:.John 6:5,6.

And it's ok to test God too, to see if we can trust Him:.Judges 6:39,40; Malachi 3:8-10;

And to test the spirits.

And to test others too as the Queen of Sheba did:.1Kings 10:1-7; Deuteronomy 13:1-5; Acts 17:10,11.

And to test your minister or anyone claiming to be a prophet, etc.:.2Corinthians 2:17. There are those users and abusers such as the corrupt and deceitful ones in Nigeria of low consciousness that they would do this. And others similarlywho would make merchandise of you. Greedy are they:.Isaiah 56:11; Proverbs 1:19; 15:27; 1Timothy 3:3

Others may also test your sincerity:.2Corinthians 8:8.

And you should test yourself:.2Corinthians 13:5; Galatians 6:4. Also test your spirit.

And to test what you eat:.Daniel 1:12-15.

King Solomon tested his life:.Ecclesiastes 2nd chapter. And after testing his life came to this consclusion:.Ecclesiastes 12:13.
