Luke 11:1,2 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When you pray, say, Our Father which are in heaven.(shows first to acknowledge He to whom you are talking with), Hallowed be your name.(next, speak about your understanding of the Infinite One's difference from all we have experienced from others; He is above all in high character quality). Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so in Earth.

Luke 11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

One can trust the Creator to work in day tight compartments to provide when sometimes all seems hopeless. 

The scripture also applies spiritually:.John 4:34.

Luke 11:4 And forgive us our sins.(it's saying 'help us get our minds off negative thinking' and awaken to the reality of Christ {what really is Christ?}, which is, once awakened to Christ, we come to see that our sins never did matter in the eternal scheme of things), as we also forgive every one that is indebted.(original for 'indebted' is 'done ought' and 'trespassed against' and why would this be so?).to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask.(what this word 'ask' really means:.Matthew 7:7-12).and it shall be given you. Seek and you shall find.(so seek first God.in you:.Luke 17:21; John 17:26). Knock and it shall be opened unto you.

Luke 11:10 For every one that asks receives.(*).and he that seeks finds and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent.(a snake)?

Luke 11:12 Or if he shall ask for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

Luke 11:13 If you then, being evil.(word 'evil' in the original is 'pain', 'causing pain and trouble', 'full of labors', hardships', 'pressed and harassed by labors', 'bringing toils', 'annoyances', 'perils', like all our lives have been at times as we were learning and growing {Psalms 119:67}, that is, we all reap what we sow {Psalms 103:10} and that is what our regular low consciousness {Ephesians 6:12}, the ego, has taken us into), know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

All things good in your life come by means of the Holy Spirit in you.
Original for 'ask' is 'desire' or 'want', that is, to want to have it. Word 'him' in original Greek is 'autos' and refers back to who was taking the action to produce or provide what was asked for from the Creator-Father-God of all creation.

Luke 11:14 And he was casting out a devil.(*).and it was dumb.(a demon causing an individual to not speak). And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb.(the individual who couldn't speak).spoke and the people wondered.

Luke 11:15,16 But some of them said, He casts out devils through Beelzebub.(Matthew 12:24).the chief of the devils. And others, tempting him sought of him a sign from heaven.

Beelzebub is another name for Satan.

Luke 11:17,18 But he knowing their thoughts said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and a house divided against a house falls. If Satan also be divided against himself how shall his kingdom stand?.(Matthew 12:26; Mark 3:26). Because you say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

Comprised with.Eclectic Notes; It is not thinkable that the prince of evil would fight against himself, which he would be doing if he put such mighty weapons, such as the power we just saw as to healing the one who couldn't speak, into Emmanuel's hands. Emmanuel places Himself entirely on the position of His opponents. If He actually cast out the demons through Satan, then it would follow that Satan was now busy in destroying Satan's own work. Every kingdom, every town, every family stands in itself a complete whole. So as soon as this unity is broken, it breaks up with its own hand the foundation of its independent existence. So was also the kingdom of darkness a whole, which had risen against the kingdom of truth and of light. Satan could not, therefore, possibly drive out evil spirits without doing injury to his own realm.

Luke 11:19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. 

Luke 11:20-22 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man armed keeps his palace his goods are in peace, But when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, he takes from him all his armour wherein he trusted and divides his spoils.

Luke 11:23 He that is not with me is against me. And he that gathers not with me scatters.

Luke 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man he walks through dry places seeking rest and finding none he says I will return unto my house.(note the unclean spirit said that it was still 'his house'; the man took no steps to become different; every heart can become the residence of unclean spirits.(?), except those which are temples of the Holy Ghost, the key to a higher consciousness).whence I came out.

Luke 11:25-28 And when he comes he finds it swept and garnished.(it was empty; the man did nothing to grow in spirituality; what could he have done?). Then goes he and takes to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself and they enter in and dwell there, and the last state of that man is worse than the first. And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice and said unto him Blessed is the womb that bare thee and the paps which you have sucked. But he said Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it.

Luke 11:29,30 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation. They seek a sign and there shall no sign be given, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

Luke 11:33 No man, when he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

Luke 11:34 The light.(*).of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is single, your whole body also is full of light but when your eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness.

Luke 11:35 Take heed.(to be aware one must think  about what's going on).therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness.

The satanic ones always throw out things for you to bite on that are seemingly of light, that is, seem good and are easy to take hold of and get into and will appear to do good for you and others you care about, etc. Before you bite on anything, be sure there's no a hook at the end of the line. The dark side beings have many tricks.

Luke 11:36 If your whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle does give you light..(?)

Luke 11:39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do you Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup.(they were adept at covering their rear end).and the platter, but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

Matthew 7:15.

Luke 11:40 You fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?.(*)

Luke 11:41 But rather give alms of such things as you have and behold, all things are clean unto you.

Being in, thinking about and doing higher consciousness acts, lifts one away from the ordinary consciousness of humanity.

Luke 11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for you tithe mint and rue.(an aromatic southwest Asian or Mediterranean plant).and all manner of herbs and pass over judgment and the love of God, these ought you to have done and not to leave the other undone.

Luke 11:43-46 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for you love the uppermost seats in the synagogues and greetings in the markets. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are as graves which appear not and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. Then answered one of the lawyers and said unto him, Master, thus saying you reproach us also. And he said, Woe unto you also, you lawyers! for you lade men with burdens grievous to be borne and you yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

Luke 11:47 Woe unto you! for you build the sepulchres of the prophets and your fathers killed them..(and what else?)

Luke 11:48-51 Truly you bear witness that you allow the deeds of your fathers, for they indeed killed them and you build their sepulchres.(burial vaults). Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles and some of them they shall slay and persecute, That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple. Verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

Luke 11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge.(the key of knowledge was a way to comprehend scriptures so that one would be able to grow spiritually and this was something the ancient scribes, Pharisees, lawyers, etc. the so-called doctors of the law, knew nothing about in any way that could affect anyone's heart spiritually; by perverting the meaning of words in order to confuse and maintain dominance, the key of knowledge was taken by them; both by their example and false teachings of intellectual rubbish and trifles of tradition, they shut the door). You entered not in yourselves and them that were entering in you hindered.
