2Peter 1:1.Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Emmanuel.Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God.(righteousness is a gift and leads to right living that is in line with the golden rule, the law for eternity:.Matthew 22:37-40).and our Saviour Emmanuel the Christ.

Word 'obtained' in original connotes 'time for one's allotment', meaning, it was time that you should be awakened to the truth of your being here.

Note it wasn't doing duties felt necessary to be a good little 'churchy' that got them their faith. As an example, ancient David's faith grew because in all he did, his basic heart was always toward God, even though he did many bad things, but did learn from them, such as:.Psalms 101:2-8.

2Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Christ Emmanuel,

More of the supply.(*).of grace comes by increasing one's knowledge of spiritual things, however some people don't know about the free gift from God that has unlimited potential.

2Peter 1:3 According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and Godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue.

2Peter 1:3 According as his divine power has given unto us all things.(has given unto us all things:.3John 1:2) that pertain unto life and Godliness.(how? and consider the body you have), through the knowledge of him.(do you have knowledge of just how wonderful your body is?.Psalms 139:14) that has called us.(called us).to glory.(to be honorable and worthy of praise from others:.Proverbs 3:3,4; 1Timothy 4:12; Luke 2:52).and virtue.

The Infinite One made you righteous. You didn't have to do anything; now God wants you to awaken to that fact.

Why didn't Peter just say that the Creator has given us all things that pertain unto life and Godliness and leave out the part about 'his divine power'? Because, he wanted to emphasize that God's power was according to something. According to what?

2Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these you are.partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great.(1Corinthians 2:9).and precious promises.(a promise is a technology that produces it, so what technologies then are used? Isaiah 11:4; how come many don't have all these good things that are possible to have?); that by these.(this is how you become one with the Creator, the Great Infinite Intelligence and possess the intelligence the Creator has; his intelligence is the high consciousness things) you are.('might be' not in original; it means 'you are').partakers of the divine nature.(God's nature is love {1John 4:6-8}, not a bunch of religious do's and don'ts and it's the divine nature that connects with your Soul and keeps you connected; it's the mind of the Creator, the mind of high consciousness, the mind of love).and have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.(lust here means, an inordinate focus upon that which is subject to perishing, that is, the physical with the selfishnesses in it we all have grasped; lust is selfishness that is on the road going far from ways that truly do help both us and others:.Jeremiah 21:8 "...I set before you the way of life and the way of death." Deuteronomy 30:15 "...I have set before you this day life and good and death and evil.")

To permanently escape the corruptible influences of the dark side in one's life, it's important to rely upon the promises of the one and only true God of all creation. 

Satan (what comprises Satan?) became what expresses as evil frequencies manifested from the angel he was that, as all of us, also have free choice. God makes all things good, but with free choice for sentient beings.

The way of the ego is a road of blindness to ways of how to implement good:.Ephesians 4:18; Matthew 15:14; Luke 6:39; 1John 2:16. It was the road the Pharisees were on and the road some still adhere to on purpose and others unknowingly because they have been deceived and manipulated by those out to screw them up in life. How?.One way.

2Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith.virtue and to virtue knowledge.

2Peter 1:6 And to knowledge temperance and to temperance patience and to patience Godliness;

2Peter 1:7 And to Godliness brotherly kindness and to brotherly kindness charity.

2Peter 1:8 For if these things.(the higher consciousness things mentioned in the previous verses and here).be in you and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord.Emmanuel the Christ.

For, why would God, who is love.(1John 4:7,8,12,16).consider us as anything other than precious?.Psalms 23:5.

2Peter 1:9 But he that lacks these things is blind.(and many are blinded; wake them up, how?).and cannot see afar off and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

2Timothy 1:9.

2Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure.(how do you make it sure?.(Matthew 7:25). For if you do these things, you shall never fall.

Original for word 'fall' is, 'in the past at any time', that is, fall back intothe trap of the ego and the ruinous greedy and selfish ways many slither through life with. The whole chapter is about forwardness, a going forward in spiritual living, a growing together into being more of what the true God is like:.Matthew 13:30; 2Peter 3:18.

2Peter 1:11 For so, an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Emmanuel the Christ.

The everlasting kingdom is also a kingdom where humanity is physically living out of what's in their hearts. What was in their hearts that got them there in the first place?.Revelation 21:27; 22:15.

2Peter 1:13 Yea, I think it meet.(fitting), as long as I am in this tabernacle.(he's speaking of his 'temporary dwelling', his body), to stir you up by putting you in remembrance.

2Peter 1:14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle.(a tabernacle is a dwelling place; we are spirits that dwell in our bodies), even as Emmanuel the Christ has showed me.(*).

2Peter 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables.(*), when we made known unto you the power and coming of Emmanuel the Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

2Peter 1:17 For he received from God the Father honur and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.(?).

2Peter 1:18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard when we were with him in the holy mount.

2Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy whereunto you do well that you take heed as unto a light that shines in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts.

2Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word.(Hebrews 2:3).of prophecy whereunto you do well that you take heed as unto a light that shines in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star.(Revelation 2:28; 22:16; 2Corinthians 4:6; Luke 1:78).arise in your hearts.

Day star is Christ consciousness; come to comprehend.what Christ is;.Easton's Bible Dictionary:."denotes the manifestation of Christ to the soul, imparting spiritual light and comfort; Christ is the."bright and morning star".of Revelation 2:28; 22:16"; 1Thessalonians 5:5.

2Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

The mind of God guides souls sincerely seeking truth. Hereby they may comprehend spiritual meaning of scriptures:.John 16:13.

2Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

If you are holy and you are, then the same applies to you. God works in and through and with man.
