-Emmanuel seemed serious.(Matthew 12:30; 25:24-26).and not lighthearted. If we are to follow Emmanuel example, should we also be serious and avoid being lighthearted?

You would be serious too if you knew you were going to die soon.
Emmanuel came to die, for us, so we could, among other things, live joyfully, lightheartedly and abundantly:.John 10:10; 16:24.(the One whom God sent wants us to be full of joy); 17:13.(Emmanuel's joy was in His relationship with the Father). Follow Emmanuel's example and points of His personality and of others that are particularly comfortable to you
We have all been brought up in different times. Circumstances, along with concepts held, help determine our personality. God wants individuals, not clones.

-Should we be going door to door and trying to hand out literature to others to bring them to God?

It is best to know someone first. Then approach with wisdom knowing that none can come to the Creator unless He opens their minds. Be ready to help:.1Timothy 6:18; Titus 3:1; 1Peter 3:15. Apart from that, just leave them be. Consider Emmanuel's prophesied example:.Isaiah 42:2.

The contact the apostles had with the unconverted was by getting the message out to groups gathered in public. They had more wisdom than spending time going 'door to door'. And, the groups that listened to what they had to say, came because they wanted to hear. They weren't accosted by someone with a twisted sense of evangelizing, calling out to them as they may be walking by:.Isaiah 42:2 "He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street."

Many religious people who have approached me seem to care less for me and more about whether or not I accept their particular religious philosophy and/or literature. Better they learn some wisdom and compassion towards others, works that will get them a great reward. They need to learn how to master acts of love rather than acts of religious.evangelizing to 'witness':.John 13:35.

And they need to throughly study their Bible so they can always be 'in tune' with the Creator and therefore be ready to answer those who may ask them:.1Peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready always.(how?).to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.".If they do not ask, why tell 'em? Does God 'need your help'?.Matthew 3:9 ".....God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.".Luke 19:40

If they do not.ask.you a reason of what it is they may see in you, perhaps they just do not understand it that way yet?

So there is your answer to 'witnessing'. Then you can be sure Creator is opening their mind to be made aware of His presence now at this time. Please read the scriptures here one more time.

Emmanuel took away sin, that is, if you are in Emmanuel, you are in the higher consciousness realm He came to reveal and out of the ego realm where sin predominates.

What if nobody knew it? What if there was no sin and nobody knows it? It is important to get the message to others. You never know whose life you may awaken to their true state. But you will never get the message into a mind that God has not opened.
